Cook Gnocchi in a large pot of boiling water.
Add Salt to Taste. Cook for a few minutes according to instructions on packet.
Generally, when the gnocchi float to the top of the water they are cooked and ready to eat. Test taste.
To make the Wilted Baby Spinach Leaves with butter sauce:
Melt some butter in a pan, do not over heat.
Simmer baby spinach leaves in the butter in the pan for a few minutes. Leave the lid on until spinach leaves have wilted.
Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix into serving dish with cooked gnocchi. Serve.
A garnish of grated Parmesan Cheese or crispy bacon pieces may be added. For a truely european flavour add some finely diced and heated tomato.
